In order to create asphalt pavement, the first step is called Predose. Asphalt pavement aggregate components are weighed using a belt weighing instrument, dried at roughly 300 degrees, sifted, and stored in silos, and then mixed thoroughly with the binding element, or liquid asphalt. The ground should be cleared, excavated, compacted, and base materials should be applied before asphalt pavement can be applied. Before laying the asphalt pavement and compacting it with asphalt rollers, a liquid asphalt binder is applied to the surface.
